Classes for High School Credit

During their time at Elm Middle School — usually when they are 8th graders — students may take a number of courses that earn high school credit.

One of these, Civics, is required of all 8th graders as part of the social studies curriculum. Another, Spanish I, is a non-accelerated elective.

Others are honors courses open to accelerated students who are eligible based on multiple measures, including teacher recommendations.

See below for descriptions of all of Elm's classes that earn credit for high school graduation.
